Jubal's first trip to the fair!

Last Friday night, October 22, 2010 we took Jubal on his first trip to the fair in Statesboro.  He was so amazed by all the lights and music.  He got to ride the merry-go-round with his daddy and his daddy loved it!  He stayed awake until around 10:15p before falling asleep in my arms.  I wrapped him up and let him sleep in his stroller for a little while before letting my sister take him to the truck so he could rest more comfortably.  These occasions are special to us and I never want to forget them, which is why I even began this blog.  I hope everyone enjoys the stories and pictures from a day in the life of our precious son, Jubal Talon.

Trick-or-Treat~2010

In our small town of Glennville, the children went trick-or-treating Thursday evening, October 28, 2010.  It was Mr. Jubal's very first trick-or-treat experience and ours as parents as well.  It was so much fun just dressing him up and strolling him around.

He is so observant and he just took in all the costumes and people walking by.  We are going to take him trick-or-treating again tonight in Claxton.  I can't wait to get him dressed up again, and tonight we will be riding on a trailer pulled by a mule, so we should have alot of fun.

Our Star is Born

On July 12, 2010 all of my dreams came true when I finally became Mommy to Jubal Talon Stanfield!  He is the most amazing little guy!  I can't thank God enough for him.  There were times when I wasn't real sure if we would ever get to be a family, but I must say "Jubal completes us."  Larson & I have been together 10 years as of September 2 and we married on October 9, 2001.  It has been a very "eventful" relationship (to say the least), but we made it & I'm so proud we did. I thank God everyday for the wonderful changes he made in Larson's life.  Jubal will get to be raised by two parents who didn't always make the best choices, but we ended up very well (thank you).  I am completely in love with my husband & my son! I have a wonderful life, and I know it's because God saw me keeping the faith & always believing-even when there wasn't much to believe in.  All I can say is if it means anything to you, continue to pursue it, PRAY, and be patient...see what God has in store for you. I promise He knows best.
