Gentry's Christmas Program

We were blessed to be able to attend our baby boy's kindergarten Christmas program.
It will be the last Christmas program we will get to attend since the
school only does it through kindergarten and Gentry will go on to first grade next year.
I will miss these little programs and my boys being this little.

After the program, we were able to go back to his classroom for pictures.
Of course, I'm always behind the lens, but I did get one of him,
and one of him & Larson together.

We signed him & Jubal both out early.
They were tickled to begin their Christmas vacation a few hours early.
We enjoyed being able to be there & happy for our boy.

Seeing Santa~2017

We took the boys to Santa again this year at Bass Pro.
I hope they never outgrow this tradition, but I know the day will
come when they no longer want to sit on Santa's lap and
tell him all about their Christmas wishes.
My heart already mourns that day.

But, for now, I will enjoy every year, every minute
we get to stand in line with anticipation just to tell him
what they want and see their faces light up with the innocence of youth
and the look of hope in their eyes.

Their "official" picture.

On this year's wish list is a Go Cart,
a "big" trampoline (since the one they have is the same 8 ft.
one Santa brought Jubal when he was just two),
Jubal asked for a Ben 10 watch,
and Gentry asked for a Zombie Lab.

We'll have to see if Santa had them on the nice list this year. ;)

Here's a few more pics while waiting to see the big man.

And, a look back:

Picnic With Jubal

Jubal had a picnic at school during the book fair.
It was in the gym, but they had it decorated like a little farm.
I got to attend and have lunch with him.
He was so excited.
Then we got to go to the book fair together, too.
It was some fun one-on-one time with my big boy. :)

Christmas Cards~2017

I say the same thing every year, but I really think this year's card is my favorite.
I'm not sure about that, though. Ha!

I love all of our Christmas cards through the years.
Check them out!

Thanksgiving~2017

We did things a little differently this year.
We actually did some traveling and went to Warner Robins to our family's home.
Jolene, my sister's friend, was a great hostess and we appreciate her opening her home up to us.

Here are a few pics that were taken while we celebrated Thanksgiving.

Gentry got to help make his very first homemade "from scratch" fresh blackberry pie.
I'm so happy the boys got to experience a bigger holiday like this.
Usually, it's just us and my mama, then we ride over to Larson's mama's house.
Nothing ever this exciting for them, though. :)

The boys were surrounded by girls whom adored them.
They loved all of the attention.

It was a great Thanksgiving!
