Jubal had his very first soccer game last night.
He played so well.
You could see pride written all over his daddy's face, and
I must say that I was a pretty proud mama myself. :)
When other parents are approaching your child's coach saying,
"I don't know #5's name, but he is so good!",
it kind of makes you proud, you know. ;)
I politely replied, "His name is Jubal."
For the rest of the game, we had parents on the
sidelines cheering "Go, Jubal!!!"
One thing is for certain.
If Jubal ever gets possession of the ball, it's a done deal.
That boy is going to run that ball down the field so fast.
You can't stop him.
He scored the first goal of the game.
I got pictures of him running the ball down the field and scoring.
It was awesome watching my baby play soccer.
I told him on the way home that soccer may end up
being his game, that he could be the next David Beckham.
I know, I know...
it doesn't hurt to dream. ;)
Jubal's team ended up winning the game.
He has another game tonight.
I hope he plays just as good as he did last night.
I know he's looking forward to it.
As long as he's happy, I'm happy.
