This past weekend was spent going here & there. Saturday morning we rode in the Rattlesnake Roundup parade. The boys love this every year, and they have both been in the parade each year of their lives.
After the parade, I had to go back to work until 2, then we rode out to the festival. It was a nice, cool, breezy day. The boys had so much fun bungee jumping, wall climbing, and pony riding.
The only picture I got was a selfie Larson managed to snap.
Sunday was a big day for the boys. Jubal had a classmate/baseball buddy having a birthday party in Savannah at Chuck E. Cheese's. We got up early and headed into the city for a fun-filled day. I'm so thankful to live in a little rural town outside of Savannah. I despise the traffic. There are just too many people for me. I'm a country girl.
Jubal hates the ride. He said he was going to take a nap. Yeah right! ;)
Gentry doesn't mind chilling out as long as he has his tablet.
We got there early enough that the boys could play for awhile before the actual party started. We munched out on cheesy bread & salad until the party started, then we ate some pizza, too.
The boys played so hard and so long. I totally expected them to nap on the way home, but they were too excited about the good time they had. Jubal declared it was "the best day ever".
Finally got Gentry to stand still long enough for a picture.
That's the birthday boy in the Pikachu hat.
I think we finally made it back home around 6:30 or so. The weather was becoming cooler and rainy, so I was more than thankful to be home, safe & warm. :)
Next weekend it's back to Savannah for the weekend since the boys have early dentist appointments Monday. We always make it a fun time for them by staying at a hotel with an indoor, heated pool, and taking them for some fun outings/activities. My favorite is the sushi at Myabis. ;)
