I had a wonderful first Mother's Day.

Thank you, God, for blessing us with an angel.
Larson took me out Saturday night.
We grabbed a bite to eat & ended up at Walmart. HA!
See, though, I LOVE Walmart so it was kinda my idea anyway. ;)
Sunday, we laid outside on the back deck in lounge chairs & let Jubal play in his little swimming pool.
So relaxing!
Larson let me pick out my gift since he's always afraid I won't like what he picks out.
I chose a necklace from juliethefish on Etsy.
Mine hasn't arrived yet, which is fine, but here is a pic of what it looks like.
Of course, mine will say "Jubal" & have the date 7/12/10 on it.
(I'll post pics of mine when it comes in.)

I wanted something to commemorate the day I became a mother, which is why I'm able to celebrate Mother's Day in the first place.
We had a cook out later in the afternoon in honor of both of our mothers.
We grilled chicken and I made some baked beans & potato salad.
It was so good!
We had a little birthday cake & ice cream, too, because it was also Larson's mama's birthday.
All in all, it was a real good day.
I am so proud to be my son's mommy.
He is my heart & soul, the very air I breathe.
